Lovely quiet location with lovely owners. Would recommend for a couple seeking a quiet location. We loved our holiday property in Fowey, have been visiting Fowey for the last 15 years both Spring and Autumn and will continue to do so. I'm in fact booked with Cornish Horizons for May 2020 as very happy with the service you provide.

Mr Stephen L,

This property is ideal for 2. Very cosy and very quiet. We had a lovely relaxing time there.

Mrs Annette S,

The property generally was superb!

G B,

Picturesque area, off the beaten track and very relaxing. Food at the nearest pub restaurant (Bodinnick) was exceptional. Holiday property was acceptable for the price paid, the garden was charming and we enjoyed the variety of visitors to the bird table.

Mrs Janet H,

If you value peace and privacy in a beautiful location this is wonderful place to stay, and you could not wish to meet nicer and more helpful people than the owners.

Mr Kevin N,

Mixtow is a tiny hamlet overlooking the river and the town of Fowey.  It is a peaceful rural retreat tucked away in the countryside - a true Cornish getaway!  Its tranquil setting offers beautiful countryside views, and means you can switch off your phone and put away your laptop, and just unwind in a quiet little hamlet by the sea.

Close by is The Old Ferry Inn, a pub dating back to the 17th century, with good food and a hearty welcome - just the thing after a bracing walk.

There are some lovely walks to discover, through fields and lanes, and along the riverside and down to quiet little coves with boats drawn up on the shoreline.

If you do fancy something a little more active, Polruan is nearby, and Fowey is just across the river - there is a car ferry from Bodinnick, and a passenger ferry from Polruan.
