Teeming with maritime charm, this waterfront property is a brilliant choice for any stay in picturesque Porthleven. Whether you’re in the area to surf or fish, take long walks along the South West Coast Path or simply get stuck into a good book on sandy shores, this cosy little cottage provides the perfect base from which to do so. The thoughtfully appointed holiday home is a family favourite, sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, one of which is a snug little bunk bedroom that kids will love. Enjoy wandering out along the waterfront each morning, taking a trip into town for breakfast out or to collect supplies.

On arrival, pass through your sunny terrace with patio furniture and exceptional sea views before heading indoors. Ideally suited to those cold and blustery evenings, the lounge has been lovingly laid out with cushy seating surrounding a wood burner and Smart TV. Prepare delicious dinners in the adjacent kitchen before cosying up in here as the sea thrashes beside you. A handy utility room and ground floor bathroom complete the downstairs, leading up to the first floor with three bedrooms. Whilst the master bedroom boasts its own en-suite bathroom, both the twin and bunk bedrooms are served by an amiable bathroom with a sumptuous sunken bathtub.

Your nearest beach, Porthleven Beach, is just 0.5 miles from home and is known as a hotspot for pro surfing. For a wider stretch of beach for sunbathing and swimming, head to Helston Beach (4.5 miles) on the outskirts of Praa Sands (5 miles). Back in Porthleven, the town has recently become a popular foodie destination, hosting an annual three-day food festival and boasting a celebrity-owned seafood restaurant. Spend time traversing waymarked pathways along the vibrant Lizard Heritage Coast before heading into town for a well-deserved bite to eat.

Me and my family stayed in Tremayno in Porthleven over Christmas. The house was wonderful. Such a great location and wonderful views of the harbour and sea from all rooms. The house was clean and spacious and very well appointed. It had everything we needed and some Christmas decorations and a tree had even been put up which was the icing on the caRead moreke. We would definitely stay there again at any time of year!! Hide

The property is beautiful, high ceilings, tall sash windows with fabulous views from each window. The owners have thought of everything you could need. Kitchen is well equipped. Access is up quite a few steps so those with mobility problems may want to check if it is appropriate. There is a passage way between the external front door and the internRead moreal front door with plenty of room to hang your coats and leave your boots so that you dont have to traipse them inside. Decor is lovely with polished floor boards with rugs, It is directly by the sea which makes for fantastic uninterrupted views but during storms it can be a bit noisy to get to sleep. . We loved our stay here. I was very sad to leave this beautiful house. It felt like home away from home. Hide

Very comfortable stay, wish it had been a bit longer. Superb harbour views, lovely patio to sit on to catch the sun. Clean and in good repair. We would definately stay again. On road parking was ok when we stayed in April.
