A truly traditional Cornish cottage, ideally situated for exploring the South coast of Cornwall, Mellangoose Cottage boasts a large open plan lounge/diner which overlooks the garden. The kitchen is compact yet well-equipped, with the bathroom, shower room and one twin bedroom all being on the ground floor. Stairs from the lounge lead to the double and twin bedrooms on the first floor. Outside, the south facing front garden is enclosed and private, whilst the sprawling rear garden is perfect for kicking a ball around and has stunning countryside views.

Kitchen: Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, larder fridge.
Dining/Living Room: 50" HD TV, DVD/CD player, woodburner, dining table and chairs overlooking the garden.
Bathroom: Bath with hand shower, basin, wc.
Shower Room: Shower cubicle, basin, wc.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds (3'), bedside table, wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: Double bed (4'6"), bedside tables, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe.

GARDEN AND PARKING: Two large enclosed gardens, one to the front of the property and one to the rear patio area with picnic table and the rest of the garden is laid to lawn. Roadside parking is available.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 dogs, £25 per week per pet . Information about bringing your pet.
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent. Gas central heating throughout, woodburner in lounge.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot and highchair provided, please bring your own cot bedding.

The town of Helston is lively and friendly with a busy main street, full of charming independent shops and plenty of historical attractions, giving the town a lovely traditional feel. The boating lake, park and café are great for families and the well-known visitor attractions of Flambards and The Cornish Seal Sanctuary are also both nearby and make excellent days out for all age groups.

Positioned at the gateway to The Lizard Peninsula, you will find numerous picturesque coves and sandy beaches for you to enjoy within easy driving distance including Porthleven, Poldhu, Mullion and many more. Nestled between the rocks and cliffs of this coastline, are many quaint fishing villages including Coverack, Cadgwith, Portholland and St Keverne which have hardly altered over the years. The Lizard Peninsula is an area which remains unspoilt by industry, and is definitely a real Cornish gem!
