From its clifftop location looking out across the sparkling waters of the bay towards Lizard Point and Land's End, you can enjoy uninterrupted views and may even spot a pod of dolphins passing by when you stay here. A popular cottage due to its quiet location away from the busy town centre of Porthleven but close enough to stroll in and make the most of the local facilities. Set all on one level and with astounding views from a choice of two outdoor seating areas, peace and tranquility is assured.
There are many lovely coastal walks to be explored from the cottage and Cornwall's largest freshwater lake, known as Loe Pool, can be reached from the South West Coast Path which is moments away. Visitors to this area can use this as a base to explore further into West Cornwall or just spend their holiday soaking up the scenery and relaxing. Sleeping 4 in two bedrooms and welcoming two dogs, this is an ideal place for your pet to come on holiday with you.

Excellent, we look forward to a return next year, marking the 6th year we will have visited the cottage.
We had a wonderful fortnight here with great weather. It's in a great location and a good base for exploring Cornwall. The view is fabulous and we even saw dolphins twice in one day! We hope to come back to enjoy it again soon.
We enjoyed our stay at dolphin cottage annex and saw dolphins! The view and the sound of the sea is excellent. A very comfortable base in a good area.
Superb location, spacious, fantastic views, re bookable
A wonderful week, delightful relaxtion and fabulous weather . . . thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.
Sixth visit and as enjoyable as the first!
Spent our second week here, this time for my birthday. A perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
The best holiday, the cottage was lovely and clean and the caretaker has done a great job
What a lovely cottage, so well looked after, thank you all for a lovely holiday.
Set on the west coast of the spectacular Lizard Peninsula, the little harbour town of Porthleven is the quintessential Cornish fishing port. Centred around the harbour, it boasts an array of cafés, restaurants and galleries and exudes a chilled, relaxed atmosphere. Porthleven is the most southerly working port in the UK, with fishing boats operating out of the harbour. This makes the town a great spot to enjoy some delicious seafood, straight from the fishing boats to the restaurants, it couldn’t be fresher!
Porthleven beach can be accessed from the town itself and provides a long expanse of sand which is separated into segments by several rocky outcrops. While away the glorious summer days relaxing on the beach with a locally made ice cream in hand!
Situated part way along a huge sweeping bay, it faces the Atlantic Ocean and is often on the receiving end of some mighty winter storms! A fabulous destination for a winter break; marvel at the awe-inspiring waves pounding the harbour walls from the cosy safety of the local pub!
The surrounding area doesn’t disappoint either; located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the views from every cove or clifftop are picture-perfect. Travel north-west and you’ll reach Marazion, home of St Michael’s Mount – an absolute ‘must’. South takes you to the tip of the Lizard Peninsula, Lizard Point, one of Cornwall’s most iconic spots.
You won’t tire of the walks and stunning scenery, but if you fancy a day out, try the Seal Sanctuary, Flambards or Trebah Gardens. Or, go a little further afield and you can explore Penzance, Land’s End and St Ives.
