Step inside, and on the ground floor you’ll discover a stylishly tiled and well-equipped kitchen with a serving hatch leading to the adjacent dining room. This airy space is furnished with a beautiful table and chairs, as well as a gorgeous Rayburn oven (decorative only as not in operation). The cosy twin and single bedrooms are also located on this floor, along with a luxurious shower room. A large utility room completes this level. Stairs lead to the annexe, which features a double bedroom and an en-suite WC. The living room is located on the first floor, a light-filled space with comfortable sofas, a wooden coffee table and spectacular views over the harbour and ocean beyond. The king-size bedroom is also located on this floor, along with the family bathroom. To the rear of the property, you’ll find an attractive sloped garden that offers coastal views from the highest point. The large lawn is surrounded by hedges, and there is a terrace with comfortable seating and a BBQ - the perfect place to enjoy a summer evening with loved ones.

You don’t have to travel for a day at the beach with Porthleven’s golden sands less than a mile from your door. Immerse yourself in the charming ambience of this idyllic working port, where you can spend hours wandering through the quaint shops and indulging in the culinary delights of the local restaurants. If you’re in search of a more tranquil escape, venture over to the picturesque Loe Lake, 2 miles away. Here, you can observe the local wildlife in their natural habitat and soak up the beauty of the surrounding wooded trails. Alternatively, strike out along the South West Coast Path and explore some of the breathtaking scenery on offer along this famously dramatic coastline.

This is a lovely cottage. Perfect location with two parking spaces was great and plenty of room for everyone. The cottage was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay if eating in or out. The cleanliness was 5* and could not fault it in any way. The view from the window seats in the lounge was fabulous quite exciting watching Read morethe wild sea and beautiful sun rises. The property was easy to find and also the check in was very easy. Chapel Downs was an amazing holiday property for a family of 6 adults and a three year old. Lots of space, very comfortable, plenty of equipment, beautiful garden and an ideal location. We would define recommend.

Very happy week at Chapel Downs. Especially the armchair by the window overlooking the harbour! Plenty to do within a 40 minute drive of the village. Well equipped cottage, comfortable beds and allocated parking was a bonus.

Weve had the pleasure of staying at Chapel Downs on multiple occasions now and its like a home from home for us. The location is superb, its extremely well equipped and its always immaculate. Hopefully we can stay there again soon!

This is a superb cottage in a fantastic location. Tastefully decorated throughout, with plenty of space for the family to spread out, and a well-equipped garden for al fresco dining. Beautiful views of the harbour, located on the South West Coastal path, so perfect base for lovely walks. 2-minute walk from a lovely harbour town with craft markets mRead moreost days in the summer, great range of places to eat and bars to call in for a drink, and the harbour is a popular swimming spot. We had a wonderful holiday here, and we can't recommend it highly enough! Hide
