Had a wonderful New Year's in this beautiful cottage. Highlights were the board games, coastal walks, log fire and Rick Stein's restaurant.

Hana & F,

Great Christmas period in a relaxing cottage that is better every time we visit. Thank you!

Past Customer,

Mellangoose Cottage is a cosy, well-equipped cottage near Porthleven. We had a very happy family holiday there. It is very well-connected and we had lovely days out: local beaches, cliff-top walks, coasteering at Praa Sands, visits and meals out at Falmouth and Portleven.

Mrs R S,

Really comfy, characterful old cottage, fabulous views, lovely garden. Ideally placed for trips down the Lizard and towards Land’s End.

Mrs Annabel P,

The property was very nice and peaceful a good base to explore Cornwall. Nice big enclosed gardens for the dog!

Mr Nicholas V,

The town of Helston is lively and friendly with a busy main street, full of charming independent shops and plenty of historical attractions, giving the town a lovely traditional feel. The boating lake, park and café are great for families and the well-known visitor attractions of Flambards and The Cornish Seal Sanctuary are also both nearby and make excellent days out for all age groups.

Positioned at the gateway to The Lizard Peninsula, you will find numerous picturesque coves and sandy beaches for you to enjoy within easy driving distance including Porthleven, Poldhu, Mullion and many more. Nestled between the rocks and cliffs of this coastline, are many quaint fishing villages including Coverack, Cadgwith, Portholland and St Keverne which have hardly altered over the years. The Lizard Peninsula is an area which remains unspoilt by industry, and is definitely a real Cornish gem!
