If you’re looking for a large property with fantastic sea views then Trevessa is the perfect choice for you. Quietly tucked away on a private lane just half a mile from the pretty village of Flushing, Trevessa boasts some of the most impressive views of Falmouth harbour. The large sociable living room opens out on to a sunny terrace which soaks in the uninterrupted sea and harbour views. After a day exploring the beauty of South Cornwall, what better way to spend the evening than with a soak in the jacuzzi bath followed by a relaxing evening on the terrace watching the boats sail by. If you’re lucky, you might spot a wild deer or two grazing in the garden during the quieter months.
If you can tear yourself away from the view, the nearby riverside village of Flushing has a selection of small pubs, shops and cafes for you to visit. Continue along the coast to Mylor Yacht Harbour, a must see for boat enthusiasts. Here you can try your hand at sailing, or simply admire some of the yachts moored up on the harbour. For those looking for some retail therapy, take the Flushing ferry over to Falmouth where you’ll be spoilt for choice with an abundance of shops, as well as some highly rated restaurants offering superb seasonal dishes throughout the year.

This property was amazing! It was so spacious and comfortable with everything you might need for a perfect stay, even down to Netflix, which kept my teenage granddaughter happy. The views were fantastic and the garden was huge. The location was great - just a short drive into Falmouth and the local villages of Flushing and Mylor. The owner even popped round and set up the table tennis for us.
Located on the opposite side of the Penryn river to Falmouth, Flushing is a little village full of charm and character. There is a pub and restaurant in the village and Falmouth is just a short drive or ferry ride away, providing a whole host of shops, attractions and dining opportunities. There is a small beach on the outskirts of the village and another three beaches in Falmouth.
The village holds an annual regatta at the end of July with a sand-castle building contest, races (rowing, swimming and a bathtub race!), a pub quiz and a carnival amongst other activities. Sheltered in the estuary, Flushing is said to be one of the warmest villages in the UK. It’s mild, maritime climate makes for the perfect outdoors holiday!
