I know it seems silly but I really enjoy holidays in the UK because my dog can come too-from Cornwall we went to Portugal and missing my four legged friend! Dog friendly information for dog friendly houses could be improved- I originally booked a different cottage but cancelled it when further Internet research showed dogs not welcome in beaches around that particular area. Padstow, Watergate bay and Fistral beaches in particular brilliant for dogs and they are even now welcome at the Eden project (though not in the biomes).
Fantastic holiday home, great location. Superb.
Absolutely stunning house. Had great stay, wouldn't hesitate to return. Many thanks
Beautiful property and very comfortable
Wonderful house. Beautifully decorated. Superb area. Will stay again. Thank you
Trevone is another of those areas that become a favourite spot for many people once they discover it. With two beaches, one rocky, where you can spend hours exploring the rock pools, fishing net in hand, and one sandy, ideal for families and those who prefer to take it easy. This part of the coast also has a natural tidal pool where you can swim at low tide. There is lots to explore and dramatic scenery from the clifftops, especially if you care to visit the famous Round Hole, where a section of cliff has collapsed to form a deep circular blow-hole. You can also see plenty of wildlife, particularly the numerous species of birds which nest on the cliffs and surrounding areas, including of course the herring gull being one of the commonest, but you may also spot cormorants, razorbills, kittiwakes and possibly, if you're lucky, the rare chough. If you're a keen birdwatcher, why not bring your binoculars and see how many you can spot? The village itself boasts a pub, village store, beach shop and cafe where you can enjoy delicious ice cream, a farm shop selling local produce, and even a tea room and art gallery with gift shop- what more could you ask for?
