Nestling in grounds next to the owners' own home The Boffy is a charming pied-a-terre for two.  Completely self-contained, guests have their own decked area as well as parking on the drive.  The owners have furnished to a high standard using fresh and clean lines to provide a modern and light feeling space.  The Boffy is a perfect hideaway only a mile from the fishing port of Padstow with its narrow old streets, shops and delightful selection of pubs and restaurants which includes Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant.  Trevone has its own shop, pub and cafe, which are all within a short walk.  The Bay is popular with surfers and you will find a number of local shops, from which to hire or buy equipment, and a surf school in the next bay at Harlyn. 

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: TV with Sky Plus and freeview, DVD player, electric cooker with double oven/ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine.
Bedroom: Super kingsize (6' - may be unlinked to become twin 3'), built in wardrobe with hanging and drawer unit, hair dryer
Shower Room: Large cubicle with thermostatic shower, basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: Timber deck area to rear. Garden furniture, barbecue. Access to owners' rear porch which can be used for storage of coats/drying wet gear.  Outside shower for washing down after visit to beach.  Designated parking space on drive.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival - 3:00pm - departure - 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent; electric panel convector heaters and heated towel rail; hot water electric immersion.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Shop: 330 yds or 1.5 mls Pub: 1.0 ml

Local Area

Trevone is another of those areas that become a favourite spot for many people once they discover it. With two beaches, one rocky, where you can spend hours exploring the rock pools, fishing net in hand, and one sandy, ideal for families and those who prefer to take it easy.  This part of the coast also has a natural tidal pool where you can swim at low tide. There is lots to explore and dramatic scenery from the clifftops, especially if you care to visit the famous Round Hole, where a section of cliff has collapsed to form a deep circular blow-hole. You can also see plenty of wildlife, particularly the numerous species of birds which nest on the cliffs and surrounding areas, including of course the herring gull being one of the commonest, but you may also spot cormorants, razorbills, kittiwakes and possibly, if you're lucky, the rare chough.  If you're a keen birdwatcher, why not bring your binoculars and see how many you can spot?  The village itself boasts a pub, village store, beach shop and cafe where you can enjoy delicious ice cream, a farm shop selling local produce, and even a tea room and art gallery with gift shop- what more could you ask for?
