As usual great holiday home, Willow Cottage was by far the most beautiful cottage we have stayed in to date, be back soon!
Willow cottage is a lovely cosy, welcoming house in a great location in St. Merryn. Brilliant if you have a dog as most beaches in the 'Seven Bays' area are dog friendly all the year round. The local bakers do very good frozen meals, the chippy is great, and the shop is very well stocked - no need to go anywhere else. The Cornish Arms down by the church is a great pub, with good quality food and you can take your dog anywhere inside.
Willow Cottage was a real home from home set in a perfect location for easy access to the beautiful beaches close to St Merryn. The 7 bays are only a matter of minutes away and Padstow is but a short drive away. St Merryn was an ideal base for our family holiday with dog friendly family pubs and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The property is decorated to a high standard and furnished with modern comfortable furniture. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Whilst the garden proved a little small for our Labrador the public footpath and fields opposite the property were ideal for him. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it was extremely relaxing and a joy to stay in. We will definitely return to Willow Cottage.
Another wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Happily recommend it and Cornish Horizons. Will definitely be booking again!
The house is lovely, well kept and tidy with a few nice unexpected surprises. The bedding was incredibly comfy along with the spacious and cosy bedrooms!
Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Will be back for sure!
We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage. We will definitely be back and would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone visiting the area.
We had a wonderful holiday the cottage was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in we didn’t want to leave. Perfect location just on the edge of St. Merryn easy walk to shop and places to eat would love to stay again, thank you. Great holiday really enjoyed it would highly recommend staying here or at any of the houses advertised on this website. Really easy to use website and helpful info pack provided with things to do in the area with discount vouchers.
Lovely stay, great cottage!
This is a lovely dog friendly cottage which is decorated and equipped to a high standard. I really don't think the photos do it justice. It is a real home from home and we wanted for nothing. The garden has lovely furniture and was very peaceful. We loved walking on the local beaches at Treyarnon, Porthcothan and Harlyn. Definitely would recommend it. We booked this last minute and we wanted a shorter break than advertised. Cornish Horizons were great as usual
Absolutely lovely property - such a high standard that we all loved. Will be booking next year.
Congratulations to the owner/caretaker of Willow Cottage. We have stayed at many cottages, and this was by far the best presented.
We much enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. Thank you very much for the welcome pack, much appreciated.
St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat. Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors. And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too! There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
