Named after the lichen covered rocks that can be found at Trevone, this well-equipped first floor property can be found all on one level providing lovely countryside views to the front of the property which overlooks a large shared garden and far reaching coastal views from the master bedroom to the rear. Spacious, bright and peaceful this property offers the perfect base to explore the Cornish Coast yet is so close to St Merryn village that you can walk along public footpaths within 10 minutes. A short drive will find you at any one of several beautiful sandy beaches where you have a wide choice of activities to try including surfing or the popular stand up paddle boarding. If walking is more your style you are within easy reach of The Coastal Path and with a bus stop in the village you have the freedom to explore other parts of the coast without needing to use your car.
This property offers a small group discount of 20% on full weekly bookings for parties of 2 or less at certain times of the year which means that bedroom 2 is unavailable to use. St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat. Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors. And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too! There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
