Gull Cottage nestles in a quiet location just off the main thoroughfare to the village of St Merryn. This property offers the ideal accommodation for a family holiday or for that stolen week out of season. The garden to the rear is enclosed and provides complete privacy from neighbouring properties making it an ideal area to relax after a day on the beach or for that summer evening barbecue! Reaching the very centre of St Merryn village entails a short walk and offers a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and takeaways, plus several shops which will cater for your every need. Sandy Harlyn is the closest bay to the village, approximately a mile in distance, but there are also several other beaches close by to choose from depending on which activity is the favourite of the day, whether it be surfing, fishing, crabbing, swimming, playing cricket, volley ball or simply relaxing on the sand.  Of course, exploring the nearby busy fishing town of Padstow could keep you busy for hours and has something to offer everyone, including cycling or walking the Camel Trail which is a must for all ages.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for 2-3 cars in the drive. NB garage not available for use. Front garden small lawn with a shrub border, enclosed rear garden mainly laid to lawn with patio area, garden furniture. Shed can be used for storage of bikes, surfboards, wetsuits etc.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 dogs; £25 per pet per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; night storage heaters hall, lounge, dining area and bedrooms, living flame coal effect gas fire lounge; hot water electric immersion.

This property was exactly what we wanted in the area. On site parking was a little tight but ok for my vehicle. It was in a quiet area and close to amenities. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden. It was the best property we have stayed in so far with you. Thank you.

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
