Reviews

Rose cottage was so clean and comfortable. Very well equipped, all of a high standard. Very close to all the beautiful sandy beaches near by.

Mrs Penelope H,

Fabulously located accommodation with services on the doorstep and within easy reach of dog friendly beaches and Padstow.

Mrs Beverley B,

Cornish Horizons were great from the start!! The website is easy to navigate and very user friendly. The booking process was simple and when I later contacted the office by email to ask questions, the response was very quickly and the information received was very good. They also give Military Veterans discount which is always a bonus. The property itself was excellent in every respect - It was very tastefully decorated, beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The owners had provided lots of basics that we didn't expect too - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea bags etc. They had also decorated the property for Christmas and even left us a gift under the tree along with some very nice mince pies which was a really lovely touch. We cannot recommend this property and Cornish Horizons enough, we had a fantastic week and will certainly recommend to all our family and friends.

Mrs Lynne P,

Great location for exploring the local area and a good central base for visiting the rest of Cornwall!

Mrs Vicki H,

Always a good house to have for us a family of 5!

Mrs Susie P,

Map

St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat.  Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors.  And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too!  There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
