Description
St Teresa’s is a charming cottage steeped in history that has been beautifully renovated to offer guests a bright modern kitchen with underfloor heating and lovely bedrooms to accommodate 6 people. The cottage is in the wooded Vale of Lanherne, in the heart of St Mawgan village and offers two beautiful secluded gardens, bordered by a Grade 2 listed wall covered in wisteria, the perfect place to relax and dine al fresco. It is set in one of Cornwall’s most beautiful, unspoiled countryside villages, which is an attraction in itself with its village green, shop and tearooms, and award winning pub. The family friendly surfing beaches of Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth are a 5 minute drive away and for walkers, a network of footpaths connects with the dramatic South West Coast Path. Star attractions such as the Eden Project and many fine restaurants are also within easy reach of this country cottage.

St Teresa’s is located in the picturesque village of St Mawgan. The cottage is situated on a very quiet lane, yet the village centre is only 100 metres away. St Mawgan boasts the well-known Falcon pub with restaurant and beer garden. There is also a village shop and tea room offering gorgeous freshly made snacks. The picturesque Japanese garden and Bonzai tree nursery in the village is well worth a visit. St Teresas is only a five minute drive from three stunning beaches – Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps. Mawgan Porth is a family friendly beach complete with rock pools to explore.
There are many beautiful walks available in the surrounding area, a must visit would be the stunning Bedruthan Steps, an area of outstanding natural beauty.Cornwall’s famous gardens such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach. As our the pretty fishing towns of Padstow and St Ives with many fine shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Family attractions nearby include Dairyland, Crealy and Old Macdonald’s Farm.
