Description
Chyanvre (which is a sister cottage to Chyhanter next door) is a delightful stone-built 19th century cottage, with a traditional appearance, containing an impressively refurbished interior which has been finished in a stylish and contemporary manner. Chyanvre, which is Cornish for House on the Hill, is a traditional terraced cottage once thought to have housed workers from the local mine. It is located in the centre of the picturesque North coastal village of St Agnes, within walking distance of all the amenities on offer including some superb restaurants, cafes, several good pubs often playing live music, shops and some interesting galleries. Walkers will not be disappointed as there are plenty of countryside and coastal walks only minutes away from where spectacular sunsets can be frequently witnessed over the sea. This cosy cottage features a beautifully fitted kitchen/dining room with a feature original Cornish range and a snug living room with multi-fuel burner. There is a small, south-facing garden to the front, which is private from the road, together with a rear courtyard benefiting from an outdoor dining area, barbecue and steps leading to its own single parking space accessed by a lane to the rear of the property. A set of quite steep stairs leads up to the two bedrooms and luxurious family bathroom containing a Heritage roll-top bath, separate rain shower and travertine floor with underfloor heating.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed (5'), chest of drawers, feature fireplace, chair (wardrobe for both bedrooms on landing).
Bedroom 2: Twin bed (3'), bedside units, chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Roll-top bath, separate thermostatic shower, basin, w.c, heated towel rail.
GARDEN AND PARKING: 1 designated space for a small car to the rear of the property, 2.5 x 4.7 metres, additional on street parking and free car park close by. South-facing garden at the front. Enclosed rear courtyard, garden furniture and barbecue.
Pet Welcome: Maximum 1 pet; £35 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent; electric heaters throughout, multi-fuel stove in lounge, underfloor warming in kitchen/diner and bathroom.

St Agnes is a picturesque village on the north coast of Cornwall situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Steeped in mining history, the village retains a traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere and makes a wonderful base for your holiday, with four different beaches.
