This beautiful stone barn conversion offers a high standard of spacious self catering accommodation and features slate floors, wooden worktops and bespoke oak staircase; demonstrating the owners care in the provision of comfort and quality. Bowgie, which is Cornish for the cow shed, is situated on the edge of family run Carnevas Farm in the heart of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm is adjacent to Carnevas Holiday Park which offers on site facilities during the summer season to include a shop, a bar, also serving bar meals, and children's play area all of which are available to occupants of Bowgie. The well loved surfing beach of Porthcothan Bay is within walking distance and on the way you will pass the popular Tredrea Inn and Berryfields Farm where you could sample a Cornish cream tea. Footpaths across the owner's land allow you to access and explore the amazing cliff walk between Porthcothan and Treyarnon Bays or join the coastal footpath at Porthcothan Bay going south to Park Head and the famous Bedruthan Steps. Padstow, with its interesting shops, pubs and Rick Stein's Seafood and other restaurants, is only 5 miles away or alternatively there is a selection of restaurants and pubs in nearby St Merryn (2 miles). Also located on the edge of Carnevas Farm are Nellies, Carnevas Farmhouse and Swallows. All private and independent from each other; any number can be booked together for couples/families looking to holiday together but with their own spaces.
This property offers a small group discount of 30% on full weekly bookings for parties of 2 at certain times of the year which means that bedroom 2 will be locked off. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this.
