Penpont is a beautifully restored Victorian town house overlooking the bay and beach of Perranporth which can be seen from four of the five bedrooms. Built in 1890, Penpont is a light and airy house providing spacious, modern accommodation for the discerning holidaymaker after undergoing complete renovation. The owners have gone to great lengths to refurbish the house to a very high standard ensuring the comfort of their guests. The ground floor flows from room to room encompassing the patio area where al fresco dining is a must, but there to enjoy at any time of day complete with barbecue and outside shower. The popular surfing beach of Perranporth is only 100 yard walk from the house and the village is a short distance beyond where a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found. Besides surfing, other local activities on offer include kite surfing, horse riding, golf, parachuting and tennis, not to mention the beautiful coastal walks. For a change of scene Holywell Bay Fun Park is close by and with Newquay only 6 miles away there is always something new to see and do. The Atlantic Highway can be joined seven miles inland from Perranporth allowing easy access to other places of interest in Cornwall making Penpont the perfect holiday home for all!
This property offers a low occupancy discount of 25% on full weekly bookings for parties of 6 or fewer at certain times of the year which means that the second floor (bedrooms 3 and 4) are locked off. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. Surrounded by countryside that inspired Winston Graham's Poldark novels, this bustling village has plenty to offer from ice-cream parlours, beach shops, family pubs, restaurants and cafes all serving delicious Cornish produce.
Perranporth beach is a remarkable playground for the whole family- build sandcastles, play football or explore the countless rock pools. Take a swim, have a picnic, take a stroll with some canine companions or at sunset, let it provide the perfect place to watch the sun go down! For the more active, there are surf and kite buggy schools on the beach and the coastal footpath, from the village provides stunning walking trails.

This property lived up to our expectations even better than listed in the brochure. We were a party of 5 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room.
