Armsyde is a spacious, three storey, 18th century town house situated in the heart of old Padstow, literally a ‘stones throw’ from the Padstow harbour. A former Sea Merchant’s house, Armsyde has been completely renovated and decorated to a high standard in a style in keeping with the character of the house but retaining much of the original charm and features. The heart of the home is the lofted kitchen/breakfast room with its dual range cooker and wood burner. Two patio doors open out onto a patio or garden room where you can enjoy alfresco dining. There is also a separate dining room with original pine floors and cast-iron feature fireplace. Evenings can be spent in the elegant lounge where you can relax on large comfy sofas before retiring to one of the four en-suite individually designed bedrooms.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
