Very well presented & comfortable property!
Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped holiday cottage - had everything we needed and more. Ideal location - just a 10 minute walk into Padstow (and a 10 minute walk back up the hill to burn off the pasties!). Padstow is a great base for a Cornish holiday - we didn't use the car all week. Plenty of walks, boat trips, shopping, beaches and great food within reach. Would definitely use Cornish Horizons again for their choice of Padstow properties.
Property maintained to high standard and a great company do deal with.
Loved the property, location makes it easy to walk to shops restaurants etc and also lovely walks on your doorstep, nice not to keep using car. Cornish Horizons very easy to deal with would use again.
Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
