Situated at the end of a mews of former fisherman's cottages in the historic fishing port of Padstow, this character cottage with its exposed beams, Cornish stone floor and log burner provides a snug base for your holiday. The harbour area with its narrow streets, shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries and pubs is a mere stroll away, or for the more energetic the scenic, mostly traffic free Camel Trail and the South West Coast Path are right on your doorstep. North Cornwall is renowned for its glorious sandy beaches, the Town beaches are within walking distance, Rock and Daymer Bay are a quick trip across the Camel Estuary on the foot ferry and numerous other life guarded beaches, ideal for surfing, are within a short drive. The contrasting scenery and coastline throughout the County is also easily accessible from your base in Padstow.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.

LOVED IT !!! Gorgeous little cottage in a wonderful location - perfect for ourselves and the hound to come and relax for a week. Very well appointed cottage - we stayed last year and loved it - have to say it's been improved since our last visit with some lovely cosmetic touches such as blinds/soft furnishings. So very dog-friendly - our hound was welcomed almost more than we were in some places! And the restaurant standard locally is fantastic.Mrs Sharon Trigg - 2nd October 2017
