We had a lovely stay at Cowslip Cottage and would most definitively stay again. Location was excellent although it tested my fitness coming back up the hill from Padstow. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was well appointed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cowslip Cottage.

Mr G,

I would just like to say how well prepared our cottage was for our stay in Cowslip Cottage (Padstow) on w/c 30/07/2020. The housekeeper had done a brilliant job and it was a lovely touch with the beautiful yellow roses that last all week. I was nervous about staying somewhere due to Covid19 but found the checklist that was left completely re-assuring. Thank you for this.

Mrs Karen R,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
