Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destination- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.

It was our first holiday as a family of 3 and the cottage was extremely baby friendly (Frankie is 6 months old) and we had access to all the baby equipment that was mentioned online. We were over the moon with how high the quality of furnishings was and thought the attention to detail was second to none! Absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyoneMrs A Hart - 12th June 2016

The welcome cake was a lovely thought, probably the best equipped cottage we have encountered. The situation is spectacular with lovely views from the sunny patio. Liked the WiFi, especially our daughter who could keep in contact with the world.Mr S - 22nd April 2014
