We loved our stay at Mayflower Cottage. Wonderful location short walk into Padstow and convenience of Tesco. We enjoyed the Victoria Sponge cake left for us!!!

Brian G,

The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the cake on arrival was such a lovely touch.

Mr Andrew C,

Great location, nice property.

Mr Peter J,

We had a good holiday in a very well equipped cottage.

Mrs L B,

We have stayed here before and are pleased to say it was as we expected - excellent, ideal for our requirements. We have used Cornish Horizons normally twice a year and over a number of years and no doubt will continue to do so. That says it all!

Mrs Jan B,

It was a great cottage with everything you needed and the cake was a lovely touch

Previous Customer,

Lovely clean cottage that has been furnished to an extremely high standard. All those little extra touches were unexpected and made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Everything and more was provided. We would definitely stay again and hope the cottage is available in 2019! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful with all those extra touches, especially the cake on arrival. The owners have clearly thought a lot about this property in ensuring its furnished to a high standard with all those extras we did not imagine would be included or provided - thank you!

Mrs Dawn J,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destination- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
