Attractive and luxurious apartment with lovely estuary views and parking, located in the heart of Padstow, only a minute's walk from the harbour. This barn conversion, to the rear of The Old Custom House, has been carried out to a high standard and the resulting first floor apartment is spacious, comfortable, very well equipped and decorated with sumptuous cottons, wooden floors and contemporary original art. It is also convenient for all the amenities of the town and has the added bonus of a private parking space right next to the property. You will probably leave your car there all day as there is so much to see and do within walking distance when you begin to explore Padstow's beautiful unspoilt harbour, shops, restaurants, galleries and pubs and the maze of picturesque narrow streets. Alternatively explore the Camel Trail, which winds its way inland along the river to Wadebridge and beyond, walk to the nearby beaches in the estuary or pop over to Rock on the ferry. You could also visit one of the fabulous sandy surfing beaches and the spectacular coastal path within a few miles drive.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
Nice roomy property with great showers and comfy beds, with a lovely view over estuary. Great time of the year to visit everything, it is slightly more low key and the coastline between Padstow and Newquay is amazing,Constantine, Treyarnon and Mawgan Porth are worth a visit just for the beautiful views so easy to get to in the out of season periods the roads are much busier in mid- to peak season. This has always been our most favourite part of North Cornwall for many years.Mrs Shelley Berryman - 31st March 2018
Fantastic location fantastic property.Mr A Parr - 7th December 2017
The barn was a really lovely comfortable pace to stay in. We loved that it was so close to the harbour, and would definitely stay there again - We love coming to Padstow and will keep coming back. We have only ever used Cornish Horizons and don’t think we would use anyone else. Old custom house Barn was a really lovely property to stay in and so close to the Harbour. If we did have any issues, the staff at the old custom house were more than happy to help us. We would definitely stay here again.Mrs S Scott - 11th November 2017

We've had another lovely holiday in beautiful Padstow. Superb apartment- we will be back in a couple of years.Mrs R - 9th October 2014
Our first stay at the Barn - real 5 star luxury. Fabulous views of the sea, lovely and light, comfy and stylish. The showers are truly fantastic, as are the toiletries in the bathrooms. The location is perfect for enjoying Padstow and the car parking space is an absolute must when staying here as it's not easy to park in the central car parks. Well fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier as a real bonus. Perfect - we will definitely be back.Mrs S - 16th June 2014
