Reviews

This is the best equipped self catering property I’ve ever stayed in!

Mrs Sheena L,

It was a first class property!!

Mr Christopher B,

1 Pentyre House is a lovely comfortable apartment in an ideal position for walking into Padstow. There are amazing views to enjoy of the estuary which is ever changing, we sat for hours watching the changing tides, amazing light and colours and all the activity on the river. Everything we needed was in the apartment, it is extremely well appointed. It is a wonderful area to visit, beautiful scenery, beaches, cliff walks and lots for families to do. We visited in December to go to the Padstow Christmas light switch on and the Christmas Festival, we really enjoyed all the fun and came home full of Christmas spirit and some rather nice presents too. Booking through Cornish Horizons website was easy, all the information was thorough and professional and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Mr E M,

This property is in an excellent location, very close to Rick Steins restaurant, and even better has parking! Tea, coffee and milk provided which was a lovely touch. We went in November and the heating had been left on making a cosy welcome. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Ian H,

The apartment exceeded all our expectations.

Mr Bryan B,

Lovely property, wonderful location.

Mrs Pam B,

Ideally situated for holidays around the Padstow area, fantastic views over the Camel estuary and Rock beach.

Mr M R,

Fantastic! Had a fabulous holiday. Hard to find any negatives.

Mr Peter J,

See you next year hopefully - Well situated property.

Mrs W M,

Shower rooms have been updated and are much better. Many thanks to the staff at CH for all their help due to the snow.

Linda W,

Map

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
