Lovely estuary views are all yours at this attractive apartment located on the ground floor of this imposing Victorian house. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped as well as being convenient for all the amenities of the town. With such delightful views you are sure to linger over your breakfast as you sip your coffee watching the wildlife in the estuary or the fishermen coming in to moor their boats.  Pentyre House is only a short step via a gate from the communal front garden to the harbour and the many delightful pubs and restaurants Padstow has to offer but is also well equipped for dining at home and even entertaining. Padstow has a beautiful unspoilt harbour and a maze of picturesque narrow streets wherein will be found many interesting shops and galleries as well as tea shops, patisserie, delicatessen - not forgetting pasty shops of which there are several.

Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6"), wardrobe, chest of drawers, hair dryer, french doors (with screen) to garden, lovely estuary views, TV. En suite Shower Room: Thermostatic shower, basin, w.c. 
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), walk in dressing room, wardrobe, chest of drawers. En suite Shower Room: Thermostatic shower, basin, w.c. 
Lounge/Diner: TV/ DVD player combi, video player, radio/CD player, Playstation 2, lovely estuary views.

GARDEN & PARKING: The garden is communal to all apartments with patio areas front and rear; there is also a washing line and barbecue.  To the front of the property there are decked areas benefiting from views of the estuary with outdoor seating for all apartments plus 1 sun lounger each. 1 parking space for each apartment. Bikes can be secured to rings on the wall to the rear of the garage (used at your own risk).

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 11:00am.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas fired c.h./hot water.
Beding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Not provided but can be hired - see hire page.

Local Area

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.


1 Pentyre House is a lovely comfortable apartment in an ideal position for walking into Padstow. There are amazing views to enjoy of the estuary which is ever changing, we sat for hours watching the changing tides, amazing light and colours and all the activity on the river. Everything we needed was in the apartment, it is extremely well appointed. It is a wonderful area to visit, beautiful scenery, beaches, cliff walks and lots for families to do. We visited in December to go to the Padstow Christmas light switch on and the Christmas Festival, we really enjoyed all the fun and came home full of Christmas spirit and some rather nice presents too. This property is in an excellent location, very close to Rick Steins restaurant, and even better has parking! Tea, coffee and milk provided which was a lovely touch.
