Situated within a short walk of the harbour yet boasting pleasant views over the estuary Felwyn is very well equipped and comfortable resulting in a welcoming and spacious home from home. It is so easy to wander out of your front door and into the town to visit shops, restaurants and the beaches in the estuary - you might never use your car all week! But if you do there is much to see and do within easy striking distance of this delightful spot - a number of fabulous sandy beaches great for surfing, the Eden Project and Tate St. Ives to name but a few.

Bathroom: Bath (electric shower over), basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: The enclosed garden to the rear comprises a lawn bounded by walls with flower borders, shrubs and wooden patio furniture. The drive at the front of the property is big enough for three. NB. Garage not available for use.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am. 
Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in rent; gas fired c.h./hot water. 
Bedding and Linen: Pillows & duvets included; bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Travel cot with some bedding, high chair; other equipment may be hired - see hire page.
Shop: 300 yrds.  Pub: 0.3 ml

Local Area

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
