The Mount is a detached, character, family house in Crugmeer, a tiny, tranquil hamlet of stone and slate cottages set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This spacious and comfortable home enjoys panoramic views to the front over unspoilt countryside towards the sea, and further sea views to the rear from the upstairs rooms. The large lawned areas and delightful slate patio make this an ideal property for adults and children alike. This stunning location offers privacy and seclusion and yet is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach at Trevone. Also within a few miles are some fine sandy surfing beaches and magnificent walks along the coastal footpaths - great for bird watching or spotting seals. There is a well-stocked farm shop nearby. The historic fishing port of Padstow (1.5 miles) boasts a number of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Steins. There are also boat trips from the harbour across to Rock. Activities such as golf, horse riding and water sports are all available nearby.
This property offers a low occupancy discount of 20% on full weekly bookings for parties of 4 or less and 30% for parties of 2 throughout all low season weeks of the year which means that if booked at the low occupancy price for 2, then bedrooms 2 and 3 (first floor) are locked off. If booked at the low occupancy price for 4, then bedroom 3 is locked off. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. If you have any questions or require full use of the property, and don't want bedrooms to be locked off, please call our friendly team on 01841 533331 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
