This stunning stone barn conversion is situated in a tranquil position on a working farm and has panoramic countryside views. Although situated in a rural area it is only a short drive from Padstow and several beaches. The Mill and its neighbour The Manor have been beautifully and lovingly restored to provide characterful, contemporary and spacious accommodation. It has an open plan interior with high vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and contemporary decor plus quality furniture and en suite bath or shower room to each bedroom. Solid walls, doubled glazed windows and underfloor heating throughout make sure that your stay will be warm and cosy for those winter getaways. The farm nestles in countryside a short distance from Padstow with its harbour and host of galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants just over 3 miles away. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall being only 10-15 minutes' drive from the A30 so a trip to Tate St Ives is only an hour away and the Eden Project about 25 minutes. Also in the same location as The Mill and The Manor is The Nooke.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
The property was in an ideal location for exploring the beautiful coastline. It was also a very warm and cosy cottage, perfect.Mrs CORAL Kelly - 4th March 2017

We have used Cornish Horizons 6/7 times over the last 10 or so years and have recommended you to several friends and have brought several friends with us. We have never had a bad property and think the standard and value are excellent. We will be back again!Mrs J Cullen - 29th May 2016
The owners were really welcoming and friendly - they made sure the house was lovely and warm for our arrival and joined the two single beds up into a huge double as requested. There were thoughtful extras - tea, coffee, milk in the fridge, fruit in the fruit bowl and flowers in a vase. A comfy, uncluttered living room with a big sofa for lounging was great for evenings and the modern bathroom with walk-in shower offered plenty of hot water and towels. The kitchen was really well equipped with high grade and spotlessly clean pots, pans, crockery etc. Highly recommended.Mr J - 17th January 2016
Just lovely accommodation and friendly host.Mrs H - 30th October 2015
We had a wonderful stay. The Mill was very comfortable and well equipped. John was friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed playing out on the lawn at the back of the cottage. We had everything we needed and had a very enjoyable holiday. We will definitely be back again.Mrs K - 27th July 2015
