This charming and well appointed stone cottage with its own parking and garden is situated in a tranquil position on part of a working farm.  The luxurious accommodation is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated and includes some chunky oak furniture, a spacious bathroom with separate power shower and whirlpool bath.  The Farm nestles in countryside a short distance from Padstow with its harbour and host of galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants just over 3 miles away. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall being only 10-15 minutes' drive from the A30 so a trip to Tate St Ives is only an hour away and the Eden Project about 25 minutes. The ideal retreat for a couple alone or with a baby.

Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: Refrigerator, ceramic hob, built in oven, slimline dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, bed settee,  TV, DVD player.

Bedroom: Kingsize bed (5'), large built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside shelves, hair dryer.
Bathroom: Whirlpool bath, large shower cubicle with thermostatic power shower, w.c., basin.

GARDEN & PARKING: Enclosed garden to side mainly laid to lawn. Table and chairs, garden bench.  Parking.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent (from onsite wind turbine); Biomass boiler (topped up by solar panels) providing hot water; radiator in living area, underfloor heating in bathroom with portable heater in bedroom.
Water Supply: Private water supply from spring, filtered and tested regularly.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: High chair, travel cot; other equipment not provided but can be hired - see hire page.
Shop: 3.5 mls Pub: 2.5 mls

NOTES: No smoking, no pets.  You are welcome to use the bed settee but occupants must never total more than 2 plus baby/babies. WiFi provided. Important information about internet usage. Local Area

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.

The property was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped- it is the perfect for two people; plenty of space and in particular a lovely large bathroom. Although it is on a working farm, it is private. The location is very good, a short drive into Padstow and a great base for exploring Cornwall.
