This lovely apartment is a little gem; light, airy and contemporary with full height windows in the main bedroom and the living room providing some wonderful views across Fistral Bay and along the coastline. It also has a large decked balcony and shared use of a swimming pool! Sit in bed and admire the view or relax on the terrace with a barbecue, watching the sunset. Fiddlers Green is situated on the Pentire Peninsula away from, but within easy walking distance of, the town centre, bars, restaurants and the beach. The more energetic could walk the footpaths to Pentire Headland (and reward yourselves with a drink or a meal at the Lewinnick Lodge which has some of the finest views in Newquay) or to the fabulous dunes at Crantock owned by the National Trust. Newquay is also wonderful for families - a number of beaches, boating lake, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo are easily reached. Surfers have a great vantage point for checking out the weather so that they can make the most of the waves on Fistral.

When many people think of Newquay, often their first impressions are of the lively night life the town has to offer, but Newquay has much more up its sleeve than just pubs and clubs. There are no less than 11 beaches along this part of the coast, most offering swathes of golden sand and plenty of family fun, and many, of course, are a mecca for the surfers who flock here all year round to ride the waves. A number of them are also dog friendly, so your best friend won't be left out either. From Newquay Harbour a wide variety of boat trips are available- whether you want to head out to sea for a fishing trip, try your hand at some of the water-sports on offer, or just take in the beautiful scenery, there will be something for everyone. If you're lucky, you may even spot a seal popping its head above the water! A more sedate option is the Trenance Gardens and Leisure park, with its boating lake where you can hire rowing- or pedal-boats. Nearby there is also the renowned Newquay Zoo, and a riding stables, from which you can explore on horseback the Gannel estuary, one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Cornwall has to offer. A little further down the coast, Perranporth offers much in the way of family entertainment. There are beaches, cafes and water sports galore, plenty of wildlife, and for the historically-minded visitor, you can see an Iron Age fort and a local museum. If your interests lean more towards the literary, this stretch of coastline is known to have inspired Winston Graham to write the Poldark novels.
Property excelllent decorated Mr A Singh - 29th September 2017
Excellent property with fab views. Great location. We couldn't have asked for more, everything was catered for. Verý happy.Ms Karen Davies - 26th September 2017
Excellent, brilliant views Miss J Atkins - 10th July 2017
Lovely well equipped apartment with fantastic views. The heated outdoor pool was also lovely and well used by my teenage girls. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Red Lion - good pub food and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed visiting The Eden Project. Also The Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow is great fun. Padstow is lovely but very buy and visiting by cycling there is probably the best way to do it. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to anyone wishing to visit the Fistral Beach/Newquay area. We have had a great week and have been lucky with the weather. The Percival family - 3rd September 2016
Everyone as been so friendly and we adored the view!! Plus thank you so much for all our lovely things such as the cava! Very much appreciated!!Miss R Bottrill - 12th July 2016
What a beautiful holiday home this is... amazing views and so many places within walking distance. Fiddlers Green is a lovely place to stay, clean bright and comfortable. We set a bucket list of all the places we wanted to see, and achieved all our highlights! 1. Walked to Holywell Bay via ferry over the Gannel. 2. St Michael's Mount. 3. Minack Theatre and Sennen Cove. 4. St Ives... Don't let the seagulls steal your ice cream!!! 5. Walk to Polperro from Talland Bay. We have had a brilliant 2 weeks and will certainly be booking again. Thanks to Wendy the caretaker for coming to our rescue!!! Welcome pack was a lovely surprise, we drank the cava on our 34th wedding anniversary.Mr & Mrs Taylor - 24th June 2016
Fiddlers Green is in a great location, walking distance to all amenities and a view that is unbeatable.Mrs J Armitage - 6th June 2016
This property was perfect for me and my family. We have been visiting Newquay for the past 10 years and this is the best yet. The little detail of fresh milk in the fridge when you arrive with orange juice. The views are outstanding. The heated pool is the best heated pool ever, so warm! Everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend. My children are 5 & 1 and there was even games, stair gate, high chair, cot, baby cutlery the lot.Mrs Clare Vandecar - 10th May 2016
Absolutely loved this place, once again it was exactly as described but better. Thank you Cornish Horizons!Mrs V - 17th April 2015
Fiddlers Green is a beautifully decorated property. We loved the location- a few minutes to the beach, yet in a quiet area. It was clean and had everything we need. Our two small children loved the swimming pool and the lovely beach and we loved the stunning view and spend long evenings on the balcony.Mrs B - 25th February 2014
