Situated in an elevated location overlooking the bay at Mawgan Porth, Romanov takes wonderful advantage of the lovely views over the beautiful terraced garden to the sea beyond.  This beautiful architect-designed property, has additional 'upper-deck' bed/sitting room with patio doors to glass fronted balcony with fantastic sea view.  The main living room has high sloping panelled ceiling, full height picture window, which takes advantage of the sea views, and a contemporary living flame inset fire.  Mawgan Porth is renowned for excellent surfing and a lovely sandy beach - only a five minute walk along the coastal footpath.  The village caters for most everyday requirements and there is a pub and restaurant within walking distance. 

This property offers a low occupancy discount of 10% on full weekly bookings for parties of 8 or fewer at certain times of the year which means that it's limited to the use of 4 bedrooms - please contact us with bedroom preferences. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. GARDEN & PARKING: Off road parking for 2-3 cars Games Room: Table tennis table, pool table, CD player. Paved terrace to rear (low surrounding wall - take care with young children) giving access to lovely sloping garden with lawn and mature shrubs (steep steps down - take care), secluded and sheltered seating area in front garden, garden furniture, barbecue. Off the terrace is a hot tub (robes provided), having wonderful sea views, available at extra cost.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 11:00am.

Local Area

Mawgan Porth is a fantastic destination for that timeless seaside holiday.  With a fish and chip shop, pub, restaurants, pitch and putt, village shop and, of course, the main attraction; the stunning, sandy beach – Mawgan Porth ticks all the boxes.  Whilst this beach-side village provides all the essentials for a traditional bucket-and-spade holiday, the modern extras are the icing on the cake.  The surfing at Mawgan Porth is superb with Kingsurf Surf School based on the beach.  Newquay is just down the road proving loads of activities for the family and also nightlife.  The food scene is booming in this part of Cornwall; with Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth based just a few miles along the coast in Padstow and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall located at the neighbouring Watergate bay, this is the spot for a bit of foodie indulgence.  The thrill-seekers are also perfectly placed for achieving their adrenaline kicks with Watergate Bay's Extreme Academy a couple of minutes' drive offering amongst other activities; surfing, kite buggying, landboarding and kitesurfing.  There is a golf course just outside the village and Newquay's small airport is only a couple of miles away, and with flights from London, Exeter, Birmingham, Leeds and more destinations it couldn't be easier to enjoy a holiday in this perfect spot.
