This modern cottage, stylish and comfortable, was built to take maximum advantage of lovely creek views in this delightful wooded valley just two miles from the historic town of Padstow. Offering a relaxed and tranquil setting, 4 Riverside is ideal for anyone looking to totally unwind from the stresses of modern living - sip your wine on the decking as a swan glides by on the gently lapping waters.  The whole of the river Camel estuary and its creeks is a haven for birds - up to 130 species at certain times of the year so you may even be lucky and spy a kingfisher.  For those looking for more action and adventure the area offers a range of activities including walking and cycling, water sports and golf. The Eden Project is easily reached and as little as three miles away there are some stunning sandy beaches for families and also for surfing.  Then at the end of your relaxing/exhausting* day (*delete as applicable!) there are a number of top class restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area which cater for a wide variety of tastes, one of which - The Old Mill House Bistro - is only a two minute walk.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 small/medium; £25 per week Information about bringing your pet. Dogs not allowed in bedrooms.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent; underfloor heating reception room and bedrooms; heated towel rail shower room; hot water electric immersion.

4 Riverside was a great property, the kids loved looking out for the passing swans and ducks. Very good location being able to access all the key beaches and areas very easily but in a peaceful location. Very clean and easy to follow directions etc.

We had a fabulous time. The cottage was immaculate, in a fantastic location, very comfortable and homely, well appointed with high quality appliances and equipment throughout. It's a blissful spot overlooking the creek and with a very pleasant short walk along the Saint's Way into Padstow. The cottage was very clean, the provision of laundry bags and the discreet notes advising us what to do with used towels, kitchen cloths and how to leave the property on departure i.e. with windows open, gave us a great deal of confidence in the current climate. Well done and thank you to all at Cornish Horizons, the property cleaners and maintenance staff and to the owners for allowing us the opportunity to stay in such a delightful place. You even provided us with sunny days and warm-ish seas in mid October! Thank you all again and we already planning on returning to Little Petherick next year.

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
