Description
The Barn is an ideal retreat for those looking to get away from it all. This lovely barn conversion is built in stone and slate and is filled with character features; vaulted beamed ceilings, rough plastered walls and thick slate window sills. One in a group of similar cottages and located in a very quiet location at Lower Halwyn, this hamlet overlooks the stunning River Camel and is only about 200m from the Oldtown inlet and the Camel Trail. This former railway track provides a flat, beautiful and car-free route into Padstow taking about 30 minutes' walk. Keen cyclists can enjoy the full 18 mile route, which starts at Padstow and meanders inland to Bodmin moor, or take it easy on the flat to Wadebridge taking in the natural beauty and wildlife which is there to be enjoyed, whatever time of the year you visit.
This property offers a small group discount of 10% on full weekly bookings for parties of 2 or less at certain times of the year which means that bedroom 2 is unavailable to use. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. If you have any questions or require full use of the property, and don't want bedroom 2 to be unavailable, please call our friendly team on 01841 533331 or email cottages@cornishhorizons.co.uk for more information.
