Description

Hildas is only 100 yards from Trevose Golf Club and the Constantine Bay Stores. This comfortable, roomy and recently refurbished bungalow is furnished and equipped throughout to provide most things you would need for summer holidays for a small family or winter breaks for a couple.  With its lovely large garden and patio area providing a welcome retreat after a long day exploring the local area.

This property is ideally located close to the golf club, the shop and the footpath to Constantine Bay beach.  This beach is a lovely wide, sandy, surfing beach with little rock pools up one end, absolutely wonderful for the traditional bucket and spade holiday but is also now popular for modern leisure pursuits such as surfing.

GROUND FLOOR:  
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, microwave, built-in electric oven and hob, washing machine.
Lounge/Diner: TV, video/DVD player.
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6"), wardrobe, chest of drawers, hair dryer.
Bedroom 2: Single bed (3'), wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: Single bed (3'), wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath (shower over off mixer taps), basin, w.c.
Shower Room: Shower (thermostatic), basin, heated towel rail.

GARDEN & PARKING: Good sized rear garden mainly laid to lawn; picnic bench, 2 sun loungers and chairs. Parking for up to 3 cars in the close, garage available for storing bikes, golf clubs and surf boards.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pet Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per week. Information about bringing your pet.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent; night storage heaters all rooms, electric towel rail bathroom and shower room; hot water - electric immersion, log burner in the lounge.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Travel cot and high chair; shared use with Boskenna Apartment - please order in advance. If already booked out, a hire service is available - see hire page.

We have been coming to holiday in the Constantine Bay area for 50 years, long before it became popular with visitors. We have stayed in a variety of accommodation mostly provided through Cornish Horizons, depending on the size of our family group. It remains our favourite part of Cornwall.

Hilda's is a great property and really well presented. We love the section of coast from Padstow to Newquay and this bungalow is perfectly located for this area. In a quiet cul de sac but the beach, local shop and golf club (that serves non-members) are all within a few minutes walk and the garden was plenty big enough for us to store our kayaks, sit outside and have room for the dog to roam around. Peter, the owner, was a wonderful host even to the point of phoning after we had got home to ensure that we had been happy with everything. As and when we have the opportunity we will certainly stay here again! Great property, excellent location, overall a superb holiday!

If you're looking for a traditional family beach holiday, Constantine Bay is hard to beat. With a wide, sweeping stretch of golden sand, it is one of those places that families return to year after year (and often generation after generation). A versatile area, Constantine Bay has something that will appeal to almost everyone, whether you're looking for an active holiday including surfing and other water-sports, a social gathering at the Trevose Golf Club or Treglos Hotel, or a family- and dog-friendly holiday where you can spend all day on the beach, or walk for miles along the winding cliff paths found along this stretch of coastline.  The beach allows dogs all year round, meaning that you don't have to leave your best friend at home when you holiday here.  And, of course, the kids will love exploring the tidal rock pools and wide expanse of sand that has long made this beach one of the best-loved along this stretch of the beautiful North Cornish coast. A popular holiday destination for those 'in the know', the Bay attracts many groups of families and friends who often holiday together, turning the area into a little community within a community in the busy summer months.
