Whisk away up to five other human guests plus two canine companions for a true Cornish escape filled with sandy beach days, coastal strolls and charming seaside town stop-offs. Settle into this homely Grade II-listed terraced cottage, from 1820, which boasts sea views, outside space and a wood burner in the cosy lounge.

Inside the property on the ground floor is a spacious double lounge with a peaceful reading area with an array of books beside the two armchairs as well as a TV room with a plush sofa and another armchair in front of the wood burner. The kitchen is on the lower ground floor and it oozes charm from its white-washed beamed ceiling and colourful tiling – here you’ll also find a dining table next to the window. On the first floor is a family bathroom plus the three bedrooms – two king-sized, one with sea views, and a twin room. Outside is an enclosed rear patio.

During your stay in the National Trust village of Boscastle, you can spend your time admiring the unspoilt harbour (0.5 miles), learning the tales of local witchcraft at the museum (0.5 miles) and exploring the cliff-top hiking trails (0.5 miles). Stop at the quirky independent shops and try some freshly caught seafood at the impressive eateries (all within 0.5 miles). Authentic but spacious cottage in a beautiful, quieter part of Cornwall. It really does feel like you are stepping back in time when you walk through the front door, there are so many original features but with all the modern conveniences as the cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay whatever the weather! Very young children and thoseRead more with limited mobility may struggle with the stairs and the cottage is on a hill but the views are spectacular and our 5 year old loved it as there was plenty of inside space to play! The Napoleon Inn just down the hill serves fantastic food and there are some fantastic walks from the cottage. Overall, a beautiful cottage holiday in a fantastic location! Hide
