Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment. The area is also favoured with golf lovers, being close to renowned golf courses.

We have had a wonderful week in very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed the Camel Valley Vineyard, setting is so peaceful and away from everything. Lovely walks and beaches too. Would definitely recommend!Mr and Mrs Chapman - 6th May 2016
I really enjoyed staying here, the beds were very comfortable and I loved the view from my bedroom, it was lovely. We would all love to come here again. A really great house, we've had a lovely week. Enjoyed exploring the coast path- walk at Trevose Head and visit to Bedruthan Steps were highlights. Two excellent National Trust properties nearby- Lanhydrock and Trerice. And of course, great beaches. Rachael was very helpful with couple of minor queries we had.Mrs L - 28th July 2015
First time visiting Cornwall since we were kids and we have had a fantastic week. Pentire View exceeded our expectations, walking up to the 3rd floor and seeing the view for the first time was breathtaking. We loved the local Camel Valley vineyard and agree it is the best sparkling wine we have tasted, worth a cycle down the Camel Trail for that! Had a fab meal at 15 by Jamie Oliver at Watergate Bay and Rick Steins fish and chips are a must. The house is so well equipped, it really has made for a fabulous holiday home. Thank you also to Rachel for keeping the house so tidy and clean! We hope to bring friends and family back soon!Mrs H - 2nd July 2015
