This beautiful detached property is set within approximately 1.5 acres of grounds including access to a meadow which is scattered with wild flowers at certain times of the year. The countryside views are outstanding; these are enhanced by the elevated position within the conservation area of the Tamar Valley. The South facing position of the property will enable you to enjoy the sun all day whether you are relaxing on the patio or in one of the gardens. The open fire will help you feel nice and cosy in the evenings or cooler months, helping this gorgeous property feel like a home from home. For those wanting to bring your four-legged friend the area is perfect for riverside and woodland walks.

All the little touches made a big difference, soap and toilet rolls (we have previously had to buy these on arrival). Beautiful house, lovely set up, fantastic garden. Kids made up as Netflix ready and waiting and working with wifi! Lovely cream tea waiting for us on arrival which was very much appreciated and we loved. Would highly recommend this property.
Our stay at West Meadow was superb. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the equipment, furniture and fittings were of a high standard. Great location in a very quiet hamlet but also easy access to the delights of both Devon and Cornwall.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size and quantity of the cottage, West Meadows. What a wonderful homely place! Thank you so much for accommodating us with our two dogs, who very much enjoyed the beautiful garden and surrounding places for long walks. Couldn't have wished for a nicer break.
We had a truly amazing week staying in this beautiful house and surrounding area. It certainly exceeded our expectations, we also visited some great places that pleased the whole family. We would definitely come back!

We have really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Have enjoyed watching the bird life in the garden and meadow. Many viewed places to visit in the area and the coast not too far away.
The stunning Tamar Valley is located on the Devon/Cornwall Border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a European Special Area of Conservation.
Being based near to the border, your choice of great days out are plentiful. Take a trip to the Tamar Trails, with 25km of trails and outdoor activities to offer, hire a canoe and enjoy your own river adventure or pop on your walking boots and explore the many beautiful walks/pathways available.
Kit Hill Country Park, with its 400 acres of heathland and network of walking trails, is just a short distance. A fascinating area with bags of history and over 10,000 archaeological remains. The summit of Kit Hill is 334 metres above sea-level (a road runs right to the top for those not so keen on the climb) and provides spectacular views across the neighbouring Dartmoor National Park in the east and of Bodmin Moor in the west.
Visit Looe, a popular seaside resort and active fishing port, where trips can be taken to catch your own fish. It has a sandy beach, access to the South West Coastal Path and award-winning fish and chips! Pop into the charming towns of Tavistock and Launceston, with its steam railway.
The glorious National Trust property of Cotehele is on your doorstep, as is the historic Morwellham Quay where you can discover life of a bygone era. Other houses and gardens nearby include Buckland Abbey, Lanhydrock House and Anthony House which was used in filming for Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.
If all this seems like hard work, indulge in afternoon cream tea at either the renowned Hotel Endsleigh or Louis on Kit Hill.
