This simply charming cottage retains many of its original features, from the curved front door and exposed beams creating a truly special holiday home for small families or couples. Located in the perfect position to explore both the coast and the countryside, you can spend your days walking the South West Coast Path (13 miles), relaxing on the sandy beaches or soaking up the historic stories of Bodmin Moor (5 miles).

Ensuring plenty of space to spend time with your loved ones, the open-plan kitchen/living room/diner has soft seating, a woodburner and a Smart TV for a perfect evening at home. Just steps away are the kitchen and dining table with plenty of storage and preparation space for the days when a wholesome home-cooked meal is on the menu. The two bedrooms comprise of two king-size rooms, one which can be made up as a twin upon request, both equipped with TVs, wardrobes and plenty of other thoughtful touches. Completing the property is a relaxing thermostatic rain shower in the bathroom. Outside is a pretty enclosed garden with a patio table and chairs and BBQ to ensure you can make the most of good weather.

Make for the coast with a trip to the busy harbour of Port Isaac to see the location where Doc Martin was filmed. From here you can join a stretch of the South West Coast Path over the cliffs, sit and relax on the sheltered beach or soak up the local culture wandering through the streets and stopping off at the independent cafes for a treat. To find peace by the water, head to Colliford Lake (14 miles), Cornwall’s largest inland body of water which covers around 900 acres. Here you can run, hike and walk in the beautiful scenery, with a number of lovely trails to trek surrounded by the natural beauty of this part of the country.

Jane and Ian gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. The cottage was first class, very comfortable with good quality furnishings. We loved the view from the cottage overlooking the Camel Valley. The location was excellent for all areas of Cornwall. Thank you.

Lovely cottage, set in beautiful surroundings. Spend a wonderful week in sunny Cornwall. Trips to Eden, Lanhydrock, Pencarrow and Lost Gardens of Heligan, to name but a few !
