The accommodation is more studio than cottage with a large combined bedroom/living area, all very comfortable with a high quality finish and attention to detail with a luxury super king or twin beds, large walk-in shower, well equipped kitchen with space to sit and eat and your own small enclosed garden, along with use of a larger open area as you wish.
Thoughtfully converted, it may be suitable for those with limited mobility or for accompanied wheelchair users - the owners would be pleased to discuss any mobility questions directly so you can make an informed choice regarding your individual requirements. The little farm hamlet of Trenarlett is set on the sunny side of the beautiful Camel Valley. Close to the wilds of Bodmin Moor to the East, with the dramatic North coast a short drive to the West, and limitless places of interest to explore throughout the whole county all within easy reach, you can really enjoy the best of both worlds then retreat to The Snug in this lovely peaceful location at the end of the day.
The Camel Trail begins just down the lane, providing level walking or cycling for as long or short distance as you fancy and we are triangulated by the pretty and thriving villages of St Breward, St Tudy and Blisland so one is spoilt for choice with friendly village pubs and eateries to relax and refuel in afterwards!

If ever there was a place to fully appreciate the stark beauty of the Cornish landscape, Bodmin Moor has to be it. With endless sweeping vistas in every direction, tumbled outcrops of granite, and inviting paths and tracks to explore, this area of Cornwall is a walker's paradise. The famous Jamaica Inn is sited here, with all its literary and historical associations. With plenty of sheep and moorland ponies wandering freely (be sure to keep your dog under control!) you can almost imagine you have been transported back to those bygone days. More recently, of course, the moor was used extensively for filming on the new adaptation of Poldark. When the dashing Mr Poldark gallops across your screen, you may well be seeing the scenery of the moor in the background. A large part of the moor has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This region also has its fair share of Arthurian legends, another facet which lends a mysterious air to the landscape, and an extra depth to Cornwall's rich and varied history, and of course who can forget the rumours of the Beast of Bodmin Moor? The many other attractions, including the National Trust's Lanhydrock House, the verdant and flourishing Tamar Valley, historic sites such as castles, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, and plenty of evidence of Cornwall's mining legacy, make this area a must-see.
