Bluebell lodge is one the best self catering accommodations we have stayed. A home from home in an idyllic location. Ron has thought of everything for his guests. We are hoping to book for next year.

Map

Surrounded by rolling countryside, St Teath is a picturesque village tucked away down quiet country lanes, yet within easy reach of many of the better-known towns and villages of North Cornwall, including Rock, Polzeath, Port Gaverne and Port Isaac. The village has a lovely pub, the White Hart Inn, and a Post Office and village stores providing all your basic needs. Nearby, there is also Bowood Park Hotel and Golf Course, where you can follow up a round of golf with a meal in their restaurant. If you think you recognise Port Isaac, it may be because you know it better as Portwenn, the home of TV's Doc Martin; much of the filming for the series takes place here and in the surrounding area. The village has access to many wonderful walking routes, providing plenty of opportunities to explore the varied landscape of the local area. If you're holidaying with your dog, so much the better!  There is lots of wildlife to be found in many areas of Cornwall; birdlife is prolific, and you may also see larger mammals such as otters or badgers if you're very lucky! There are also plenty of wild flowers crowding the verges and hedgerows, creating an idyllic scene on your countryside rambles, while bees and butterflies abound, making for a truly relaxing and tranquil break
