We know holidays, we know Cornwall

The Eden Project

Visiting The Eden Project is a must

Boasting the world's largest biomes, thousands of incredible plant species collected from all around the world, fabulous music events, environmental education and England's longest zip wire, this is one attraction not to be missed.
Built in what was once a disused quarry, the two huge biomes house a tropical and a Mediterranean environment.

Home to banana trees, coffee, rubber and giant bamboo, olives and grape vines, vegetable gardens, and sculptures that include a giant bee and towering robot created from old electrical appliances.

The Eden Project is also renowned for its central message about the relationship between people and plants. This interdependence is emphasised throughout the project and plants are labelled with their medicinal uses.

The Eden Project practice what they preach by harvesting rainwater and using electricity generated by Cornwall's own wind turbines.

Eden is open all year round with ice skating rink in late winter, the ‘Eden Sessions' (concerts and one day music festivals) and events, courses and exhibitions throughout the year.
