A modern house overlooking Portreath Harbour and within 500 metres of this bustling village’s attractive sandy beach. Perfect for families or groups of friends that love to be beside the seaside, the house offers a large lounge, three versatile bedrooms and front and rear gardens.
Set in a quiet residential area in the heart of the village, the house has been sympathetically furnished with comfort and relaxation firmly in mind. Get together as a group in the airy lounge, a traditionally-styled space which features exposed wooden ceiling beams. The neighbouring kitchen/diner awaits the ingredients needed to create everything from hearty brunches to late-night suppers, and it’s from here that you’ll access the rear patio garden. The double bedroom, twin bedroom and bunk bedrooms on the first floor all have ample storage space, with the convenience of a family bathroom close by. There is enough room in the small enclosed front lawn for dog-friendly children’s games, while the views from the rear patio are best enjoyed with fortifying refreshments at sunset.
Portreath is a small village centred around its harbour and large sandy beach, with plenty of cafes, shops and dog-friendly pubs to visit in between times. Portreath is a popular water sports destination, as are the beaches at Gwithian and Porthtowan (within 6.5 miles). The 11-mile Coast to Coast Trail between Portreath and Devoran, an old mineral tramway, is a huge hit with walkers and cyclists, and a great way to learn about the industrial history of the area.
