The property is in a good location and comfortable but is really let down by the lack of WiFi, coupled with a very poor phone signal and the steep ramp and then 50 steps up to the front door with suspect steps and hand rail in the wet from the mucky parking area, which could have better signage. Because of the lack of WiFi and poor access I would oRead morenly rate this as a 2 out of 5. Hide

If you're worried about the steps. Park on the corner of Woodlands and the apartment is the first house down just a few very big steps. Saves a lot of walking. The apartment is clean and spacious. WiFi would be nice but we lived without it. Short walk to the town, busses and Station. Very relaxing short break away

Although the space itself was appropriate for infants and children, I would argue that the access makes it very inappropriate. Having to either park temporarily in a less than ideal spot and climb the unguarded large slippery steps and path with my 8month old, and 83 year old mother, or to go down the even slippery steps and path to where the car wRead moreas parked, made it stressful to leave the apartment and arrive home each day. The details suggested it was very near the beachfront, however due to the trees you could not see any water at all, and the beach seemed much further away than was stated. The tvs both seemed to have trouble working. There was no WiFi, and signal was poor so not even able to use data very easily. Overall I was disappointed with the choice, and will not be likely to book with Original Cottahes again, based on this experience. Hide

I would not recommend and will say that unless damp and mould problems are dealt with it should be removed from your letting service if my daughter had come with us we would have ended up in hospital because the mould sets her asthma off sleeping on Brecon beacon with no tent is more inviting than the cottage

The property was poorly maintained, and the photos are clearly quite old as it no longer looks the same inside or out. The outside area is in dire need of maintenance, cleaning and the plants need cutting back desperately. The windows were filthy. To pass off this property as having an outside terrace was an insult, what it had was a mucky, unsafRead moree area outside stuffed with rubbish and overgrown trees. Inside the apartment needs a deep cleaning; although the immediate surfaces were clean the apartment itself is grubby, very dusty and smelt heavily of mould. The location is great and the apartment well equipped, linnen, beds and kitchen all nice and clean (but as previously stated more widely the place is dusty and mouldy). Parking is convenient down a small dirt track to the side of the apartment, but be prepared for your car to get covered in detritus from the wooded area where it is situated I'd steer clear of this place in future, seems its a cash cow for someone unfortunately.
