Plan a getaway to this charming retreat in the beautiful village of St Merryn and take the chance to relax and enjoy this enchanting South West destination. Suitable for four people and two dogs, this maisonette will make a great base for everyone to relax in after enjoying the sun, surf and sights of Cornwall.

As you enter you’ll find the bedrooms on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms, one king bedroom and one twin bedroom and both designed to be as restful as possible. After all, you’ll be having some busy days! Continue upstairs to find the open-plan living area, mostly devoted to the lounge portion but with kitchen and dining nooks. It’s a great spot to enjoy evenings of games, films and companionship. To one side you’ll see a balcony, accessible through sliding glass doors and complete with a seating area so you can take food and drinks out there to enjoy whilst admiring the beautiful view. Finally, you’ll see the shared garden. It’s a lovely area with more furniture, perfect for sunbathing or playing with dogs.

This property is in St Merryn, a village with a few local amenities should you require them. You’ll be surrounded by coastline, so prepare for walks, water sports and much more. Try Treyarnon Bay (2.5 miles) and Trevone Bay (2 miles) for dog-friendly beaches with excellent surf. For walks, visit National Trust - Carnewas (5 miles) which has a wonderful little cafe and incredible views, or the National Trust Trevose Headland (3 miles) where you can spot wildlife and a lighthouse. Finish the holiday with a day at Padstow (3 miles), a bustling coastal hub with delicious food and great boutiques, plus sea safaris where you might spot puffins, dolphins and whales.

This was our second visit to Newlands and we will definately be coming back. Beautiful location and the property has absolutely everything you need for your stay. Great view from this property.

Great accommodation, would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Quiet location, you feel tucked away, lovely sea view on clear days.

Newland is a comfortable, spacious holiday home. It is in a great location with local pubs, golf course & dog friendly sandy beaches.

Had a great stay in Newland again, St Merryn is our family second home as we have based ourselves there 13 out of 14 years. Newland location is great for a base both from just on the edge of the village with a great pub very close by plus its so close to other areas to visit!

Lovely light and airy double aspect apartment. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Well situated for days out to Harlyn Bay, Trevone, Constantine Bay & Padstow with Wadebridge and Polzeath not too far away.

Great to be back at Newland and the new furniture a was nice welcome. The fridge has a problem with it had, heavy milk/bottles in the door section it doesnt shut greatly and causes the freezer section to suffer. Needs levelling.
