The stretch of coastline near St Merryn is known as ‘seven bays for seven days’, referring to the seven sandy beaches within a 3-mile radius. The family favourites of Harlyn Bay (1.5 miles) and Treyarnon Bay (2 miles) are great for bathing and playing on the sand, or for fabulous surfing conditions, head to Constantine Bay (1.5 miles). From Padstow, enjoy boat trips from the harbour or exhilarating hikes along the South West Coast Path. Nearby family attractions include Camel Creek Family Theme Park (5 miles) and Newquay Zoo (11.5 miles).
