The traditional petit stone cottage is bursting with period features and has been decorated and furnished to complement the original style. The bespoke kitchen has been carefully designed to maximise the space and has a cute breakfast bar and everything you need to rustle up delicious dinners. The cosy lounge is a delightful place to relax, watching the Smart TV in the glow of the wood burner. Beyond the lounge is a dining area, with French doors opening onto the patio. A beautiful bathroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, two charming bedrooms await, both with characterful sloping ceilings (just watch out for the restricted head height in some areas). Please note the double bedroom is open to the stairway separated by a curtain and to access the twin room you need to go through the double bedroom.
Porthcothan Bay (2.5 miles) is one of North Cornwall’s hidden gems. The sheltered, sandy cove is the perfect place for a peaceful picnic and a splash in the calm waters. At low tide, the beach connects to a number of other picturesque coves along the coastline. The stretch of the South West Coast Path that passes through Porthcothan is considered one of the finest of the whole trail, offering panoramic views and spectacular wildlife watching opportunities, particularly as you approach the iconic Bedruthan Steps.
