As well as countryside walks from your front door, you’ll be just 4 miles from the North Cornwall coast, with its dramatic scenery and a myriad of hidden beaches and coves to explore.
The lodge has a reverse-level layout, making the most of the far-reaching views. On the ground floor you’ll find two relaxing bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. The family bathroom is also on this level. Upstairs, discover an impressive lounge/kitchen/diner, with a wood-clad, vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto open countryside. This sociable space has a dining table to seat everyone and a choice of comfortable seating for relaxing on after a day of exploring. The stylish kitchen area is a joy to cook in, with all the equipment needed to cater for the group. An inviting twin bedroom completes this floor. From the lounge, glass doors open onto a stunning balcony overlooking open fields – the ideal spot for al fresco entertaining in the sunshine. There’s also an open garden to the rear of the property, where children can play. There is also lots of space in the very handy garage for storing of bikes and surfboards etc which is accessed internally.
Little Petherick is surrounded by countryside and a plethora of walking trails. From Little Petherick Creek, you can follow the water to join The Camel Trail to Padstow or Wadebridge. The long-distance Saint’s Way also passes through the village. The harbour town of Padstow is 3.5 miles away and has a superb collection of cosy pubs and high-end eateries. The area is known for its picture-postcard, sandy beaches, including the much-loved bays of Trevone and Harlyn (both within 4 miles).
