As well as countryside walks from your front door, you’ll be just 4 miles from the North Cornwall coast, with its dramatic scenery and a myriad of hidden beaches and coves to explore.

The lodge has a reverse-level layout, making the most of the far-reaching views. On the ground floor you’ll find two relaxing bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. The stylish kitchen area is a joy to cook in, with all the equipment needed to cater for the group. An inviting twin bedroom completes this floor. From the lounge, glass doors open onto a stunning balcony overlooking open fields – the ideal spot for al fresco entertaining in the sunshine. There’s also an open garden to the rear of the property, where children can play. There is also lots of space in the very handy garage for storing of bikes and surfboards etc which is accessed internally.

Little Petherick is surrounded by countryside and a plethora of walking trails. From Little Petherick Creek, you can follow the water to join The Camel Trail to Padstow or Wadebridge. The long-distance Saint’s Way also passes through the village. The harbour town of Padstow is 3.5 miles away and has a superb collection of cosy pubs and high-end eateries. The area is known for its picture-postcard, sandy beaches, including the much-loved bays of Trevone and Harlyn (both within 4 miles).

A lovely location that we know very well. Family areas were fabulous, spacious, well furnished and nicely decorated. We used the large veranda constantly and really enjoyed being central to Padstow and all the wonderful beaches on the north coast. A perfect retreat for larger families with quiet countryside surrounding. We were out and about everydRead moreay but came back to our oasis each evening. Well worth the very reasonable cost. Hide

Milton Lodge was a spacious and comfortable holiday home. It was well equipped, and in a great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We were welcomed with Tea/Coffee/Biscuits and milk - which was very much appreciated after a long journey. Thank you!

Great location A fabulous open plan living space Cleanliness of kitchen on arrival not acceptable, cleaned ourselves on arrival. Needs an electric fire in lounge gas is disconnected to current one (understandable for safety reasons) but is a shame. Kitchen is well equipped and the showers are lovely.
