A nice base for exploring and handy for wadebridge and the shops. Basic essentials ( in the case of the TV, very basic!) Some of the decor is a little tired but overall good value and location for exploring North Cornwall.

We had a wonderful stay at Tern. The house had everything we needed, my wife was pleased with the kitchen and overall the place felt very well maintained and cared for. We did spot one small issue with a window, which stood out as everything else was in excellent order, and the owner sent someone around to fix it very quickly without any fuss. MuchRead more appreciated! Decor was well chosen, not too cluttered and not too bare and with some nice touches, so we quickly felt at home. The guest book goes back for years but the place has been kept up to date, e.g. carpets, appliances etc. all seemed quite recent. Our three year old was very pleased with the games selection, thank you! Location is good, we made use of the parking spot but one day worked off our lunch at the Stepping Stone (recommended restaurant) by walking back up the hill, but mostly it was a central base for exploring the plentiful beaches and attractions in the area. Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable and spacious. We always cook a decent meal in the evenings and it was THE best equipped kitchen we have used - thank you. The property is just as described and what we expected except it is on a steep hill. It is a modern house in a quiet residential estate. I would recommend this property and is good value.

Great location for visiting towns across most of Cornwall, particularly so in relation to very easy access to A39 and A30 . The house provided an ideal base and was well equipped and relatively spacious for a weeks break. Although situated on a small housing estate, it was very quiet and felt private. Supermarket was in walking distance as was thRead moree town centre. Would recommend the house and would happily return. Hide
