This stunning and spacious Grade II-listed property is the perfect spot for spending time with four of your loved ones. With exposed beams, high arched windows, and enchanting furnishings throughout, it combines tradition with contemporary style, and is well-situated in the rolling North Cornwall countryside.

The first room you’ll enter is the stylish open-plan kitchen/diner. Light floods in through the large windows and it is the perfect spot to socialise together or spend time cooking. The two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor; choose between a sumptuous double or a welcoming twin bedroom. A contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower completes this level. Upstairs, in the mezzanine lounge, you will find plenty of comfortable sofas and seating set around a warming wood burner where you can get cosy after busy days. Outside to the front of the property is a small, enclosed patio area with seating and a BBQ.

Set in the idyllic village of Rumford, this property has plenty of walking and cycling trails right from the doorstep. You can head off into the countryside to look out for wildlife and enjoy breathtaking views. If you prefer to rest and recuperate, soak up the sun on the sandy shores of Porthcothan Beach (4 miles), or visit the surf hub of Cornwall, Newquay (10 miles). Very pleased with our choice. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Location is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Cornwall in the holiday period but this suited us. Within easy driving distance of the main attractions. Lovely shower and bathroom. Beds comfortable but as previously mentioned the double is low to the ground. UpstairRead mores lounge a lovely space and very cosy when the log burner is lit. Stairs are open plan which our 2 little dogs did not like at all. They had to be carried up and down, (which they were very happy with!) Tea , coffee and biscuits a welcome treat on arrival. Overall good value for money and ideal if you want a chilled, quiet week away. Hide

Beautiful converted Sunday School in the most idyllic countryside setting. Very quiet but not too far from places like Padstow and Newquay.

The location of the cottage was good and one of the reason we picked this property as easy to reach all the beaches. Unfortunately we wouldnt choose to stay here again. Mainly due to the fact that the dog hated the stairs as its open steps and we had to carry her up each time we wanted to use the living space. We also found the parking( which iRead moresnt really a space but on a side of a junction?) and outdoor space not to be that ideal with the children. Something we will think better about next time. Its a nice enough space. I just think we have stayed in a few now in Cornwall and it didnt really meet the mark. Hide

Excellent location but note that the main double bed is quite low. Also we found there to be a gap on top of the stairs which dog paws easily slipped through. Be aware if you have a small dog or children. Neighbour was also a bit passive aggressive about venturing onto their non-signposted private road next door!

Cottage was clean and warm, lovely quiet location, but just 20 minutes away from Newquay/Padstow/Port Isaac. Lovely beach/cove 6 minutes for evening stroll with dogs/children. Well equipped, comfy pillows/duvets. My only comment would be the master double bed is very low (IKEA type) so not at all good for morning mobility issues. Be aware of the 9aRead morem check out time as well. Hide

Lovely holiday home, we were welcomed with a welcome pack of tea coffee and shortbread. The home was lovely and warm and so only used the wood burner one evening after a cold and wet walk out and we all wanted the warmth of the fire. All places we wanted to visit were no further than 40 minutes away and the garden is secure for dogs to roam around,Read more parking was easy at the property and the shower was powerful and hot. We will definitely stay here again. Hide
