Whilst saying in this part of England, a walk along the South West Coast Path is a must, be it a few miles or an all-day activity. Take the route towards Looe which stretches 10 miles or venture off in the opposite direction to find the sands of Carlyon Bay (6 miles) or Porthpean (5 miles) for a picturesque pathway with plenty of great places to stop off for a picnic or spot of pub grub. Plant lovers will relish the opportunity to visit the Eden Project (7 miles) to wander through the Mediterranean and rainforest biomes, as well as to learn more about the wonderful world we live in through their interactive exhibits and informative trails. The picturesque fishing village of Charlestown is close to Eden, famed for it's Disney film and Poldark film sets, it offers a quaint walk around an old working village complete with square rig sail ships (when they're not busy filming) and in the summer some great fish based street food.
