An external iron spiral staircase leads up to the entrance of this elegantly updated apartment. Inside you will find a spacious, light-filled and tastefully decorated open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The bright and airy lounge has a TV, DVD player, hi-fi and Xbox, and makes a lovely space for everyone to sit back, chat or catch up with a good book in the evenings. There’s a delightful dining table perfect for enjoying sociable mealtimes together, and the sleek, fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Exploring this characterful apartment further, there are two sumptuous bedrooms, each with plenty of storage and their own en-suite shower rooms: the first bedroom has a super-king-size bed and an additional single bed, with a useful table over by the window. The second room is a tranquil double.

The apartment lies at the centre of the bustling coastal port of Padstow, with the harbour and a fantastic range of seafood restaurants nearby. Beautiful apartment, rooms nice and spacious, great location. The only downfall is trying to pull cases up the spiral staircase!

The entire place seems to be overdue for a facelift/redecoration. There are areas of black mould and peeling paint in the main bathroom. There are also broken window panes in the main bedroom and kitchen. The overall standard of cleaning left a lot be desired, The breakfast bar top was covered in crumbs and the table was sticky on arrival. There wRead moreere dead flies on the smaller bathroom window sill and cobwebs in several areas. The spiral stair case is covered in dirt and moss which made it slippery after heavy rain. On the day we vacated the property we had a knock on the door from a lady who lived in the staff accommodation below. She was obviously very upset about the fact that water from the bathroom in our accommodation was pouring through the ceiling into her bedroom. I can only hope that this was rectified before the property was let again. Whilst I understand that the flat is located above a pub, I feel that the staff should be a little more mindful of the fact that there are paying customers in the flat above. On several nights there was a lot of noise and raised voices from people standing in the back yard of the pub after they had finished their shift for the night. It is also very obvious when the brewery is delivering. Beer kegs being rolled across the yard early in the morning makes quite a racket! This accommodation is definitely not suitable for families with very young children or for elderly people with mobility issues. Hide

Very comfortable, excellent location, well equipped and quality furnishings & decor. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others. Although no allocated parking at property, it wasn't too far to the car park where a week's parking was very reasonable. You can load/unload car at property but may be blocking deliveries to hotel.
